The Boston Globe interviewed Dr. Pablo Hernández-Lagos, chair of the strategy and entrepreneurship department and director of the MBA program at YU’s Sy Syms School of Business, on the increasing use of AI by job seekers. Prof. Lagos authored a study that showed AI is highly effective at convincing hiring managers that a candidate is qualified, which could impact screening accuracy. The study is yet another example of the continued impact of AI on nearly all sectors of the economy.
